​​Shellmell’s Sweets LLC is a home‑based ecommerce dessert shop in Shreveport, Louisiana, built from passion, persistence, and a whole lot of love. Our journey began in March during the pandemic, when I found myself returning to the comfort of baking—something I’ve loved since I was a little girl. Holidays were my favorite time of year because I got to help with desserts and, the best part, I was able to use the mixer. Those moments shaped the baker I am today.But turning that passion into a business wasn’t always easy. Cookies, believe it or not, were my biggest challenge. No matter how closely I followed a recipe, they never came out right. After many batches, plenty of frustration, and a lot of trial and error, my mom suggested something simple: “Make your own recipe.” That advice changed everything. Once I trusted myself, the cookies finally came out soft, delicious, and worth sharing.My daughters were the first to encourage me to turn this into a business. After I sent them treats while they were away at college, they insisted that others needed to experience them too. And that’s how Shellmell’s Sweets was born.Today, we proudly offer a variety of homemade desserts—soft‑batch cookies in multiple flavors, creamy banana pudding, rich cheesecake delights, and moist loaf cakes—all made fresh to order. Every dessert is crafted with care, from our home to yours, so you can enjoy the warmth and comfort of homemade sweetness whenever the craving calls.
